Removing mildew smells

Cleaning

Mildew smells can be easily eliminated with the help of some baking soda. This substance is one of the most popular household products for removing bad odors.

Removing mildew

The first thing you need to do is remove the mildew.

Use a solution made of dish soap and warm water. This should solve the mildew problem. Use a sponge or a piece of cloth to scrub the affected area.

Applying the baking soda

After you have removed the mildew, sprinkle some baking soda on the affected area. Let it sit for 3 hours before cleaning it.

The baking soda will absorb the odors and it should be left even longer, and applied even more, for powerful unpleasant odors.
