An exercise pool is a compact pool that uses a jet of water to make you swim in place. It’s like a combination of treadmill and a swimming pool. It can be used for exercise and physical therapy. So, how does it work? Well, it has a jet of water at one end that direct water into the swimmer. Thus, the water jet creates a resistance force that allows the person to swim in place. The exercise pool uses the same water in the pool for the jet. A motor absorbs water from it and the pushes through a hose. You can adjust the speed of the jet and the resistance at your desire. These pools come in many sizes. They usually are 7 and 10 feet wide and between 12 and 16 feet long. The maximum depth size is 6 feet. You can always call the manufactures and make an exercise pool at your desired size. |
