How to clean a glass door beverage refrigerator

Here’s how you can clean the glass door from your beverage refrigerator.

Cleaning the glass door

Before you star cleaning, be sure that you have turned the fridge off and that you have unplugged it. Now, remove all the beverages or the objects inside the fridge.

Make a mixture of baking soda and warm water and then scrub the inside of the fridge. Rinse the inside very well and remove the excess water with a dry towel or paper towel.

Wash the shelves that you have removed in a solution of detergent and water. Dry them with a paper towel. Be sure to let the shelves get to the temperature room before cleaning them. The water may have a different temperature and cause them to crack.

Use the same solution to clean the door gasket. This is especially important because bacteria can build up in the cracks. Be sure to remove all the debris and let the place white clean.

Never use hot water to clean the fridge, as plastic parts may be sensible to the difference of temperature. Also, be careful with chemicals. Consult the owners manual and see what chemicals are approved. Use only solutions of dish detergent and water and baking soda and water. Avoid using any abrasive pads or cleaners.

Between cleanings

Clean every spill as it happens. This will prevent bacteria from building up and also you will prevent staining.

Put food and beverages in containers in the fridge and be sure that you throw out theexpired ones.

If you want to keep your fridge in good shape, you can also clean the condenser. Use a vacuum cleaner to do this. If the fan is clogged it will get hot and may damage the other components.
