Making cheap fence post tops

Here how you can make your own fence post tops, without spending a lot of money.

Instructions

1. Post tops are very useful because this way you can prevent the posts from rotting, especially if you live in a humid area. You have a few options.
   You can either buy expensive post tops, or you can make some by yourself.
2. One way to make them by yourself is to use some old wood table legs that have been machined into ball shaped. You will need to cut them and then sand them down. The all you need to do is secure them on top of the posts. Use screws to do this.
3. After you have installed them, make sure you stain the wood with the correct color. Remove any varnish before staining, if necessary.
