Glass
You will need to cut the glass to the size of the door. You need to leave a frame around the glass panel of 1 inch.
Marks
For the next step you will need to remove the old cabinet door and take a carpenter’s pencil. Determine where the panels are going to be placed on the inside of the cabinet doors. Use a measure tape to do this. Place a piece of glass on the markings to make sure they are correct.
Panels
The next step is to drill 4 wide holes in the corner of the panel, on the inside part of the markings. Use a jigsaw to remove the inside of the panel.
Moldings
Frame the new glass panel by attaching the molding to the front of the cabinet. Measure the length of the outside edge to determine the size of the moldings. Use a mitre saw to cut the moldings at a 45 degree angle. Use glue to attach the molding.
Installing the glass panel
The corner rounds will need to be cut at a 45 degree angle and fitted to hold the glass in place. Using some small nails and a small hammer, attach them to the cabinet. You can use a piece of cardboard to protect the glass. Caulk the joins and you’re done.
