Installing under-mount kitchen sinks
Installing an under-mount kitchen sink isn’t an easy job, but it can be done with the help of the right tools. First of all you will need to find the right sink for your kitchen.
Installing the kitchen sink
- Get a saber saw and a keyhole saw to save some money.
- Next you will need to fasten the sink in the counter top. To prevent corrosion to the metal, clean the surface where you have worked on with some rubbing alcohol.
- Then seal the sink. Use latex or plumber’s putty to do this the right way. Apply as much as you can and wipe the excess. Every inch of the perimeter needs to be perfectly sealed.
- The last thing you need to do is fix the sink drain to the sink, and attach the mounting screws.
