Ceiling fan
Braces are used to keep fans stabilized after the installation. If it’s not stabilized it won’t work properly. You only need a screwdriver and a ladder for this operation.
Turning off the power and removing the fan
First of all, be sure that you turn off the power in your home or just into the room if possible. This way you avoid any electrocution accidents. Remove the fan and place it aside. You need to have access to the wiring.
Placing the brace
The brace needs to be placed where the electrical housing is located. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions. The wiring needs to be secured. Use tape and wire caps. Reattach the fan.
Now push all the wiring and housing inside the brace. Secure them using the screwdriver. Test fan and see if it vibrates. Turn the power on first.
