Designing outdoor handrails
The design may differ according to the environment. For example, if there are wall outside near the stairs, then you can install those handrails into the wall. If not, then handrails posts are better.
Cleaning the surfaces
Carefully clean the surfaces where the outdoor handrails will be installed. Use a water pressure washer that will remove any debris and grime from those surfaces.
If the surfaces are cracked or broke, use some concrete adhesive to fix them.
If you’re going to install a wall handrail, then use a stud finder and mark them up. Keep the stud in center when you mark the points.
Installing the mounting brackets
Now, after all the points have been marked, you need to install the mounting brackets. Use a drill to make some holes according to the size of the brackets. Use some wall nuts to fix them.
Now you need to insert the posts into each of the brackets. Then attach the handrail strip to the handrail posts with screws.
