Commercial mildew cleaners
Mildew removal isn’t a hard task no matter the places or the size of the infestation.

- Commercial mildew cleaner
- Scrub brush
- Safety goggles
- Breathing mask
When you are trying to clean mildew from your bathroom ceiling, you will surely needs a stepladder to reach those spaces. Also, you will need proper ventilation so open the windows and doors.
For a better cleaning you will need to let the cleaner react with the mildew. Let is sit for a few minutes before starting to scrub the areas. Make sure that it doesn’t drip.
Scrubbing the ceiling
You can use either a sponge or a washcloth for this job. If you see that the mildew cannot be removed entirely, use a hard-bristled scrub brush. You may also needs an expandable toothbrush for tight spaces.
If you don’t like ladders, you may also use a long-handled mop to clean the mildew. But this can only work if the mildew is easy to remove.
Always step down the ladder if you feel overwhelmed by the cleaner fumes. Take a break to avoid any accidents. Also be sure that the windows and doors are opened for a proper ventilation.
After scrubbing the mildew from the ceiling, you will need to dry the area with a clean dry cloth. If the area remains moist, it will only help the formation of new mildew.
Proper ventilation and light are the worst enemies of mildew, so make sure that the bathroom is properly ventilated and also let the window open for the light to come in as much as possible. Install a window electric fan.
