How to have a proper sump pump drainage

Distance from the foundation

How to check your tubing

You need to be sure that the tube is safely connected to the PVC pipe or else the water will end up in the soil. From the soil, the water will leak into the basement again and the pump will need to work more for pumping out the same water. If your pump is kept under such pressure, it will lessen its life and the amount of money you will spend for repairs will be very big.
